A New Way on Choice

We can guarantee a woman's right to reproductive justice

I am uncompromising in my support of a woman’s right to privacy and to choice. The defense of these rights includes an imperative to reduce the number of unplanned and unwanted pregnancies.

My faith has taught me to respect the private decisions others make about their health and the health of their families, and I’ve acted on this belief.

As Legislative Director at Citizen Action/Illinois, I joined the Illinois Campaign for Reproductive Health and Access, a statewide effort that is fighting to enact legislation, which would ensure Roe v Wade’s protections, protect patients’ rights to accurate health care information and the reproductive medical care they require, and establish statewide standards for comprehensive sexual health education. I will continue advocating for the passage of the Reproductive Health and Access Act as member of the Illinois General Assembly.

Choice is a fundamental right; women must be entitled to make decisions regarding their own bodies. As State Representative, I will work vigilantly to protect that right.
